Does anyone know if there is any PC based software that can write screening filters in English-Like text similar to Stockfetcher?

As far as I know, no there isn't. I am a "life" member of AAII, American Association for Individual Investors club. They send me their monthly periodical on Computer Investor Software and Internet information. In their data I get I have not seen any company that has this type of stock filtering service.

You might try Stratasearch. They offer a free trial. Stockfetcher is better for people with very little skill in writing code. Stratasearch usually takes an article from TASC magazine each month and writes downloadable code for you. They have a 1 time fee and great support but when it comes to simplicity, StockFetcher is the winner. Stockfetcher's community and Forum are much more active. Stratasearch has a feature where you tell it what results you want (like frequent trades, low drawdowns etc and it searches for trading systems using millions of combinations of rules until it exhausts or finds what you want.) Both are great sites for traders...just different. I think very highly of both sites.

I am downloading StrataSearch right now. Thanks for pointing me to this one.

I'll play with it for a week or so (since it seems to take a while to optimize the trading systems - literally tries millions of combinations of different indicators). Happy to post some thoughts and strategies if it looks good.
