FAS 03/2009 1.61. FAS 01/2017 43.00. 26 times gain.

Just in case you have any doubt.

I will endure 70% drawdowns if need be. That's how sure I am. I am a man.

I was more impressed with GNW - was at around $1 in March of 2009, and went to over $18 within a year. Just insane. Makes me really want a time machine.

Yeah, that would be great, though it being a stock and it would be pot luck trying to pick it.
At least with an ETF that is battered down, you add security, but you knew that already.
In theory it all makes sense, but I'm afraid riding out those drawdowns in practice will be impossible.
And how to maximize the best setups, if you play dips or counter plays.
It's a catch 22. What do you do if the counter play gap never fills? Too many variables.

Ok, here's what I got so far. USO, bottomed mid Jan. and is going to 100, how do I know,
I just do. Plus there's a gap up there. I will be using UWTIF, but can't add to list since SF has not added
it yet, can you please add UWTIF and DWTIF. So, what I will be doing is, I will be going long 100% UWTIF when it is below every line. When it crosses over any 2 lines, I will reduce position to 80%, then 60%
after 2 more, finally going to 40%. Will add 20% for every 2 lines it decreases and so on. It's not perfect but this is good as I can come up with. Still working on this, may add less on the way down or wait to go through 3 lines as it falls before adding.

A little tweak. Buy below lowest line, sell above highest.
Either wait to go below lowest line again, or short a portion of it on way down.

You deserve it! And to everyone else, oh well try again.

Thanx Scott. I have to say, real estate has been the lions share of the wealth though. Hard to tinker with it when it's going south. Just buy at the right time and hold. Trading is a much tougher game. Commodities are my next play. They say to buy low.
