We recently added the ability to change the default length of time displayed for your stock charts. To use this new feature, you will want to add the "chart-time" keyword followed by a period of time. Then, when you click on the ticker symbol in your results list, the chart will display the time period specified.

Below are some examples of the "chart-time" feature.

Fetcher[show stocks between 10 and 50 and chart-time is 12 days]

Fetcher[show stocks between 10 and 50 and chart-time is 4 months]

Fetcher[show stocks between 10 and 50 and chart-time is 1 year and chart-type is line]

The chart-time is restricted to a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 1 year.

Hi,

If possible, could you elaborate on the problems you are seeing with the time periods? In the examples above the 12-day charting did return charts of length 12 days for us.

However, once you start indicating weeks, months, and years the actual length of the chart is approximated based on a common average of number of trading days in the particular period of time. This does lead to cases where a chart may display slightly more or less bars during a given month, but the hope is that the chart is close. The day measure should correspond to the correct number of trading days, with limits on both the minimum and maximum size.

Thank you, and please provide any examples that demonstrate incorrect chart periods and we will look into the issue further.

no the charts would not be incorrect by a few days, i would request a 15 day chart and get a 3 month chart. unfortunetly i feel very foolish that i can't reproduce the problem again.!!!
