Standard Error Channels

ParametersPeriod
Width
UsageUpper Standard Error Channel(45,2.0)
Lower Standard Error Channel(45,2.0)
Center Standard Error Channel(45,2.0)
Description Standard Error Channels are very similar to Standard Error Bands except the channel boundaries are projected back from the most recent Standard Error and Linear Regression Indicator measures. Where the Standard Error Bands are re-evaluated at each date, the Standard Error Channels, are linear projections based on single point to help identify the current trend based on the input parameters.

The center band is based on the current linear regression trend-line. The upper and lower bands a determined by a multiple (width) of the standard error of the trend-line.

Example:

and add column stderr(close,45)
