I have being playing around with the EMA 50 for the stocks (nuan, driv, scss, trib) for 12 months now with a degree of success . Basically the approach was to sell short going below the 50 day ema and buy long going above.
I would like to refine this basic approach to:
1. select better candidates for this approach
2. Improve on the buy/sell signals or compliment existing ones with added clarity.

Any ideas out there,

Thanks - Sean

Add RSI, bollinger bands, linear regression? Refine to select markets. Select volumes etc.
