I have reread all of these messages under Holy Grail and wanted to ask you if you took risjr's filter as posted on July 4th, our Indepedence Day, and added some additional refinements to create these results? Whatever you did, the results are excellent for those of us who seek rapid profits on a daily basis. 7/30/2003 1:07:21 PM Hi, HG or trading partner. I have been paper trading your filter since 7/16 and most have done well. I am wondering when you exit a position. Do you use a % drop from previous close, or some TA indicator/s, or do you set a target to exit? Can you give us some specifics? I realize that there are many methods to enter and exit a position, depending on your goals, risk factor, portfolio size, etc., but if a person wanted to follow your lead, where would he exit? 8/1/2003 10:22:35 PM This is one i use, and search for the best chart setups. close is 3 percent greater than close 1 day ago and volume is greater than 150000 and close is less than 15% below the close 52 week high and Average Volume(30) is above 100000 |

4/7/2005 12:21:38 AM Hi holy grail, Your indicator regarding 30% gain in 4 months comes up with lots of hits, but on back testing 50% go down and rest up and some no where. Now the real task is , how do you separate the winners from the losers? waiting for your reply. Andy |

4/7/2005 9:21:50 PM I am HolyGrail's trading buddy... he isn't on SF much lately. You have to trade the stock. That means you stalk it... you watch and wait. If you see daily RSI(2) < .05, you might as well LOAD THE BOAT. Look at RCO! Mar 21, 2005 RSI(2) = .012 close $1.05. If you "jumped in" and waited.. you would have doubled your money on Apr 5, 2005. But if you WATCHED and waited for VOLUME, on Apr 4, 2005 there was a POSITIVE DIVERGENCE... lower close at $.83 and higher RSI(2) at $2.31... next day RCO bottomed at $.75 and rocketed to a high of $2.16. When to buy? WHEN THE VOLUME KICKS IN!! Learn this "lesson" and that's all you need. MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE. |
