Can someone help me out setting up this strategy filter with Buy and Sell signals? The RSI(5) strategy is simply a timing devise for entry and exit. The entry begins when the RSI (5) is below 30 and starts to move above 30. Once it crosses 30, "Buy". Then hold this stock until it crosses above 80, "Sell".

Question: what happens in a down trend and rsi(5) above 80 doesn't occur?

Thanks for your help. Sorry about not clarifying my intention accurately. I am interested in showing stocks that are showing RSI(5) in uptrend, not any in downtrend. I think you get the idea...
I heard that RSI(%) crossing over 30 are very bullish...just trying to find out how accurate the filter is.
I guess I can use something like

show stocks where RSI(5) crossed above 30
and RSI(5) 1 day ago was below 30 for the last 5 days
and draw MA(50)
and draw MA(200)

I wonder if there is a way to capture stocks that are about to cross above 30 in a day advance.
Also, "...1 day ago was below 30 for the last 5 days"...... I don't know if this will be effective in catching those stocks that are about to breakout. Do you think 5 days should be shortened or extended?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The filter is a start. However, how will you manage your trade once you are in it? ...

" I am interested in showing stocks that are showing RSI(5) in uptrend, "
How do you define an uptrend?...
