Dear WSG and all other gurus,

Thanks for sharing so much with newbies like myself. Without your posting in SF and those from TRO, 13th & chetron, there are less to learn from an expert like you and there will definitely be less value in the forum. Thanks again. I am very impressed with the above filter - what better way to go into a stock than at the bottom. Since you have done a filter for the "absolute bottom", I wonder whether you or any of the other gurus (TRO, 13th, Chetron or others) could write one for "absolute top". Logic tells me that it will be a mirror image of the "absolute bottom" filter, but newbies and less complex brains like mine see the filter coding like nuclear science equation. I thank you very very much for taking time to read this request. I wish you well and all success in your trading!

leesengtat,

Thanks for the compliment,I'm no good at writing filters/scans but I can follow price action off TRO's RFR,the COMBO scan and the Dayranger scan.
One thing I'll tell you I'm pretty certain of is is you've seen nothing yet from FAZ.

$31 move today on FAZ!
If you can't get short borrows on FAZ with your broker just go long its twin brother FAS.
Nice $2.5 move on a $7.50 stock

FAZ -35%
FAS +30%

If you have the knowledge to daytrade/scalp,this is legalized gambling at its best aka known why I don't mess with 2% moves.

west,

A simple 8 period slow stochastic might help you out. Look at multiple time frames. 5min, 15min, 30min, 1hour. If all 4 are moving in the same direction that would indicate strong momentum.
