jcampbell, thanks for asking about my filters I use against the IBD100 listing. Here are two I like alot for this purpose:

OBV has been increasing for 2 days
and day change is below 15.0
and day change is above -.5
and slow stochastic(10) %D is below 25
and draw MACD(12,26)
and draw CCI(14)
and draw MA(30)
and draw MA(50)
and apply to watchlist(?????? = whatever your watchlist name is for IBD100 list)

Another is:

Slow Stochastic %D is below 15 at close
and price is between 2 and 50
and price is increasing previous 1 day
and day change % is below 1.0
and day change % is above 0.0
and MA(30) is increasing previous 2 days
and apply to watchlist(????? = whatever watchlist name you have for IBD100 list)

As you know you can revise any of these statements tweeking them to your style of play. I have 100 filters created so I can switch the IBD100 watchlist to any of them giving me this neat flexibility I love.

Also, I created watchlist listings covering what my Fidelity acct shows in their screens and watchlist listings covering specific magazine writers/analyst picks. Such as Fortune, Rukeyser, and Smart Money news items.

I hope this helped in some way. Let me know what you feel about this reply thread.

Thanks, and happy investing!
