I am contonplating playing with some stocks listed on the canadian exchanges. If they have a symbol listed on an american exchange will the rise and fall of the canadian stock be mimicked on the american exchange. I use E-Trade and to trade Canadian stocks I need to call in for my buys and sells and they can take for ever to answer the phone meaning I would miss the trade. I was wondering if buying the stock on the American exchane in this case the otc.BB exchange wolud be advisable. Or can a stock go up on one and down on the other. How about european stocks with dual symbols, how does this work. I know a noob question but I never had to deal with it before.
Jim
