Does anyone regularly use MA crossing as an indicator? I am working on a variation of MA and would like a baseline to compare to. MA(20) crossing above MA(50) seems to be pretty standard numbers. Does anyone use something different or should I consider that the best baseline?

What is your time frame?

I don't have a timeframe. I have something that I have used off and on for years that is similar to MA and I would like to see how this other method compares. I can do the testing on MA to develop baselines, but if somebody else already has it, then I can move on to comparisons. Seems the 20/50 and 50/200 crosses are pretty standard, but curious if anyone has refined those for better results.
