I am new to Stock Fetcher & developing a filter that I want to back test when the market is trending higher. Is it possible to only show stocks dependent on another factor like the market? Is it possible to include code only when the EMA of the SPX or SPY is trending higher? I'd prefer to have it based on SPX.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hi
Fetcher[
close > 10 and average volume (90) > 900,000
set {r, close / ma (20)} add column r and r > 1
]

What this shows is
First line gives you about 992 stocks right now.
Second line on March 9 when the market was at a bottom the stocks above their ma (20) was 84
today with a good run up 917 stocks are above their Ma (20)

I have forgot how to do the rest.
That would be only except a value if R or the close > than Ma (20) on say 600 or 700 stocks.

Only got you half way.

See ya
David
