I've been a stockfetcher user for a couple of years so it's bothering me that I can't figure this one out. Hopefully someone out there can help me...

I'd like to identify a new 52 week high that occured between 10 and 30 days ago...

Sounds pretty simple but I can't get it to write. Any help would be appreciated!

try this (if I understand ur request..)

with visible 10 .. 30 ranges

Fetcher[
/*new 52 wk high sync */

set{hi52 ,high 260 days high}
draw hi52 on plot price

set{Hion,count(high crossed above hi52 1 days ago,30)}
set{Hioff,count(high crossed above hi52 1 days ago,10)}

draw hion on plot hioff

hioff equals 0
hion equals 1

offset 60
volume > 10000
price > 1
]

with single signal line ....

Fetcher[

set{hi52 ,high 260 days high}
draw hi52 on plot price

set{Hion,count(high 10 days ago crossed above hi52 11 days ago,20)}
hion crossed below 0.5

offset 60
volume > 10000
price > 1

]

Thanks to all of you for your responses. wantonellis, you've captured what I was looking for: a high that was reached no sooner than 10 days ago, but not longer than 30 days ago. I appreciate the quick responses - fantastic!

One other thing, the definitions used in your answers are more complex than the word definitions that I use in my scans. Did I miss how your logic was built in the User Guide, or, should I be aware of an alternative form of instruction language for the system to recognize?

Again, many thanks!
