R U Happy?
When Dana Telsey went on CNBC last week and said 14,000 was a "wake-up" for investors ... I immediately thought, "there they (CNBC) again .. telling investors to get in AT THE TOP!"
roflmao!!
Frankly, I still can't tell a correction from a reveral.

Karen,

While I'm flattered to see you make threads in my honor (this is the second or third one, I can't remember), I much prefer to stick to the ones I'm actively posting, which happens to be "Challenge".

As for the eternal optimists, I decline to comment but I will say that I've been burned more than once and twice shy when it comes to differentiating a pullback from a reversal. But a good theory to rest ure laurel is that a pullback usually entails a stock or the index to stop cold at either MA(50) or MA(200), usually the former, before continuing its main trend. If these two moving averages are violated, however, it's a sure bet the trend is exhausted and the full-fledged reversal is in the offing.
