I'm still in FAZ.

Karen:

Not waiting for the confirmation signal? What the article did not discuss was the frequency of the Hindenburg signal without a confirmation, and what typically happened under those circumstances.

Here is a little more detail on their occurance and frequency:

http://www.safehaven.com/article/3880/the-past-performance-of-the-hindenburg-omen-stock-market-crash-signals-1985-2005

The requirement for a confirmation seems pretty important - most of the confirmed signals come in tight clusters of 5 or so within a few months of the initial signal, so keep your eyes open (although if it gets confirmed the internet will be abuzz with the news).

Past Performance of Hindenburg Omen

SCROLL DOWN

Hey Kevin.
Thanks for posting.
The internet IS "abuzz with the news".
Also, look at a 9-month chart of DOW.
I don't know how to post my ToS charts here. ...
But clearly looks like Head & Shoulders pattern to me.

duke,
It's "okay".
Basically, I go there because the people are nice and I can "chat" whenever I want.
For the price, you can't beat it ... $200 up front for a lifetime membership.
Someone "new" is always popping in with some new insights. (trials)
For example, today, a "newbie" was pumping Volume Spread Analysis, and Amibroker. Although I was already vaguely familiar with both, because he mentioned them, I stumbled up the Heiken-Ashi indicator! Wow!!
So, for me, the chat is worthwhile ... for the occasional nuggets of wisdom.
I don't use the software ... just the chat.

duke,
Rick Saddler's chat is very good, IMHO.
Lots of technical analysis, charts, etc.. It's $85./mo.
Since I'm cheap, I didn't renew my trial.
But if you're looking for a chat with technicals and charts, and willing to spend $85., it's certainly worth checking out.
You can email him and ask for a "trial".
Rick @Ricksaddler.com
Good luck!
