I would like to know how I can make the back test only enter a stock on next day if the price gaps DOWN. (even if its by as little as a cent)

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you!

You need to use a limit order at a price below the trigger day close. Not sure if SS backtesting can do this, though. And given that they still seem determined to pull the plug on this functionality next month, I would not waste too much time figuring this out.
