3/14/2008 11:35:42 PM EWZUBER, I try to follow the VIX indicator as one of my primary technical indicators. I find that generally when the vix goes over 29 there is a very high probability of a significant bounce up the following trade day. Check this back a couple of years and you can see the VIX spikes > 29 tend to foster a nice up day . Hope my long position pays off for Monday.Dean |

3/17/2008 5:23:11 AM mimi, I have found that a single time frame like the Daily Chart is not a reliable indicator. Problem with the VIX right now is that the longer term charts are in the positive half of their cycles. This will tend to trend the VIX higher in the shorter term charts. GL |
