Did you predict the direction of this move? And if so did you expect it to happen a month later?

Just highlighting triangle patterns is really not that useful. The stock can break in either direction.

Did you predict the direction of this move? played as a LONG.

1st noticed triangle then applied technicals. used Bollinger low and price low of Oct 8,9 as the stop. all close calls with price were ignored because Bollinger remained above the Bollinger low AND price remained above price low. Moving Averages never "seriously" crossed.

Avagos bid for LSI @ $11 ish was the catalyst for the monster move up




And if so did you expect it to happen a month later? no. no time limit set.

triangle patterns produce a move out a tightening price pattern, trade in the direction of the move, long or short it does not matter.

Although I would think ones odds better when trading with the overall market trend.
