This may seem like a silly question, but someone asked me and because I wasn't
100% sure of my answer, I said I would ask others. Here goes:

When a mid-cap stock (by market cap size), falls below its market cap group
(e.g., mid-cap,), does that immediately push that stock into the lower group
size (say, dropping from mid-cap to small-cap)? Or is there a lag time for that
stock to recover and retain being in the mid-cap group?

Thanks for your input!
