Hello,

The high of MBI was 13.25 on June,17
The low of MBI was 9.2 on July, 10, sixteen trading days later.
The drop was greater than 30% (9,2/13.25 = 0.694)

Please, does someone know what is the correct phrase to see the stocks with more than 30% between their highest and lowest in a recent given period and keep these cases for 5 days ?
I don't know if I am clear and sorry for my bad english.

(I have not found a similar question in the past theads)

Many thanks in advance.

Take a look....

Fetcher[

Set{hivar, high 30 day high}
Set{lowvar, low}
Set{var, hivar - low}
Set{pctchg, var/hivar}
Set{trigger, count(pctchg crossed above .29,1)}
Price > 2
Average volume(90) > 1000000
Add column pctchg
Add column trigger
Sort column 5 descending
And draw trigger
And draw pctchg
And draw hivar on plot price
And draw lowvar on plot price
]

Maybe this is closer, seems to flag your mbi example. Still need to exclude stocks like usu who move up > 29% in one day as they will throw a trigger as well.

Interestingly enough you will see that some stocks have a sweet spot.. Check out spls in that filter and what happens when it hits a 20% drop from a 30 day high...

Oh, a big thank to you, I would not have found on my own.
I understand the principle, I will work on these bases and the user guide.
Thank you again.
