I receive a lot of emailo about the Secret Currency which is the
greatest invesment of 2004.
Does any one know what it is?

If it's not "spam" (LOL) then it may be the gold bugs at it again, some saying gold should hit the $1000 mark end of 2004 (?!)

I've been hearing rumblings about a second currency for the US. One for internal domestic commerce and another for international commerce.

What you could be talking about is the Islamic Gold Dinar. Do an internet search and there is a lot of "chatter" about it. The idea is that Islamic fundamentalists want to undermine western currencies by switching to the Gold Dinar for virtually all business transactions. There logic is that the Greenback will become virtually worthless and western capitalism, as we know it, will come down like the Twin Towers. Interesting...

It assumes that every capitalistic society would not switch to gold whatever in order to retain parity. Or for that matter revert our dollar to a gold standard. Either way life and the U$ dollar will go on.

There've been a couple talks about it. From Steve ??? and a few other pessimist. Most of them refer to gold and rare gold coins. The Islamic Dinar was among them. If you are bearish enough, you might want to follow them.
