  Trendsurfer,  I believe you've got it.  Saying 1 year instead of 52 weeks.  With the msg. above yours, I was finding stocks that weren't within 15% of the 52-week high (e.g., LDK, NVR, CHUX).
 
 Why this project?  Because I read this comment from Bill O'Neil, of IBD:  "In my 30 years of managing portfolios, I have never bought a stock unless its price was at or within 15% of its 52-week high.  History has shown that the best stocks begin their big runs after trading at or above that level."
 
 That said, when I tested your script, with the following additions (stock is greater than $10, and stock closed higher than day before), I came up with 1,764 matches.  I'll need to put in a few more filters to whittle down the list (e.g, volume minimum, stock is above 34-day MA, etc.)  Any ideas from anyone else?
