Does anyone know how to write a filter to search for stocks that will gap up or have a strong price increase the next morning?

Thanks

Hi, khar123:

If that question is with tongue in cheek, ;-)!

If you're serious, No, but the modified "Muddy" is as good a starting point as any I've encountered. Look in the archives on this site for the posts of "wallman" and "The Rumpled One".

I have such a filter - - run it the night before - - gives nearly 100% winners for the next AM. The only problem is it takes 24hrs to run the filter.
