This stock is showing up in the "Who really wants to find the next NTRI?" forum and filter.

Bought and sold this last week for a 23% gain and "if" I held it until today it would have been 75% gain.

The stock is really overbought. Would only think about buying this stock again on a pullback. It would be financial suicide otherwise. Today it showed signs of weakness and is down 3% in the after-hours. If it was above $5 (broker limitation) I would think about shorting it.

I see a lot of support for buying GNBT on the message boards.
Buy high and sell higher.....
I think the train has already left the station for a safe entry, but could be wrong.

Those overbought indicators are pretty steep....someone's going to hold the bag. I had to remove it temporarily from my watch....can't bear to watch. The short however........

I think it is not a wise idea to apply the technical analysis with this type of stock,
Basically, because what moves this stock is the promising future not the overbought or oversold type of thing.
There is strong news and high expectations from the market that the stock will make good business.

Therefore, it is very important to differentiate your role, when to be a speculator or an investor. And what determines that is not your personality type only , but also the stock you are dealing with.
Some time mixing these two roles can cause big loses.
At the end of the day, what matters is the amount of money you make.

GNBT dropped like a rock from $5 - $3.11 !!

You have to TAKE PROFIT before the market (makers) take it back.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

I guess doing TA does work, and is wise :)

Second that "how you trade it!"
