ALl the preset filters seem to have very few recommendations. Does anyone have a good filter to find bullish trades [intraday and 1-3 day holds max]. I have seen very positive response to this software but I am not savy at ALL with scripts or whatever they are called.

I use scottrades' trade-ideas. But don't want to spend the $1100 fee for odds-maker.

Thanks in advance for any reply,

Stocky Irishman.

That's a rather general request, however have a rummage in the Filter Exchange forum -- there's tons of good stuff in there (esp. from TRO)

There are some really good filters in the Filter Exchange section of the forums. You simply need to spend some time researching. However, the best bullish filters generally perform best in a bull market. They usually perform worse in a down-trending market. We may very well be in a down-trending market now....at least for a while....especially if you are a short term trader. So, follow the general rule: do not fight the market!!! Do not make bullish trades in a down-trending market. You will be very unhappy with the outcome.
