Is there a way to make sure a filter will only return the first X matching stocks, like the ones with the highest volume, or something else...

Nope ... no way to limit the output number.... but you always can use price or volume to do this for you (i.e. price is between 2 and 7 ... or volume is greater than 850000). ... or tighten up the parameters of your screen... Or add in another attribute. I like to get around 50 stocks to look at.... and then make my final selection from these. No screen will pick 100% winners... over-refinement can destroy an awesome screen... it is better to have too many to look at, and futher disect, then just a few.
