klynn55,

At the bottom of the site I posted, you can proceed to the bottom and click on the Demo that Lan Turner, president and CEO of Geckosoftware demonstrates the 3.0 version, removing all the duplications that was on version 2.0. In a few months an enhanced 3.50 version will be coming out.

I generally use the score of 5 and if not enought stocks, I then look at all stocks that have an average profit of 8 percent or better.

The group I am currently owning when the enter date is posted. Sofar this month has been APH, GMT, SNA, BA, XRAY, KMX, FE.

I then look at the charts such as http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=APH&p=D&yr=0&mn=4&dy=0&id=p39055968237 to confirm that it is on the rise and that the 13ema is above the 50ema.

Buy BA April 19, 2013, Sell May 1, 2013
Buy SNA April 12, 2013, sell April 25, 2013
Buy APH April 10, 2013, sell April 22, 2013

If the above are showing a profit I can except as well as double clicking on the ticker to see a chart, I get out and then go back to Enter tab (looking from stocks from April 1st to April 30 and the Average profit tab by double clicking on it, looking for any stocks that are greater than 8%.

A different procedure is used for the Trademiner 3.0 Forex and the Trademiner 3.0 Futures.

Hope this can help

Quilln -

Conceptually this is an interesting approach. I do think that in the video they use to promote the system the frequency of each trade is a possible issue - only 10 trades for any given stock from which to draw confidence ("find stocks that were profitable in February using the last 10 years of data").

Other than that, their approach is unique and something that might deserve more attention.

I just bought the system, watched the intro video and Q&A section. The pres of the co, Lan Turner would probably agree with you Kevin. He does not see this as stand alone strategy. The stats tell that there is a a high likelihood that a buy or sell might repeat itself during a certain date range. He uses his own set of technical factors to confirm trades in the direction of the historic data. I am looking at it for a swing trade tool, however it seems he day trades it.

one thing that bothers me about the software , when you google it, you get scores of reviews at scores of sites, yet the wording seems to be the same. good advertising ???? How can you prove the data is correct also?

blkyn55,

re: seasonality for research purposes
re: Trade miner - seasonal

persue the following by inserting your favourite ticker. Today, I am selling BA. sold XRAY yesterday all for a profit.

http://spirilis.net/stockseasonality/promo/seasonalPromo.php

put in PPL for the month of May, but, PPL is scheduled for May24 - June 26 slot.

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PPL&p=D&yr=0&mn=4&dy=0&id=p22577738788 to make money conservatively, buy and sell per the bottom panels. PPL could have been bought on March 25th. there she goes and the rest is history.
Here are the rules for trading CCI and the RSI's -http://www.onlinetradingconcepts.com/TechnicalAnalysis/CommodityChannelIndex.html
http://www.onlinetradingconcepts.com/TechnicalAnalysis/RelativeStrengthIndex.html

It's almost impossible to fail. there many tricks when the prices reach the CCI -20 line to get back in when placing an Insurance policy to get back in.

http://www.stocklegends.com/technical-trading/rsi-indicator/

May 1st selections are FFIV, ABC, CAH, KMB, BBBY (sell), LLY, JBLU, GPS (sell), ROK, AEP(sell). However, none of them have a score of 5.0.

Hope this can help you in your research.

Best regards,

klynn55,
thanks for the current list in your fast research.

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=DTE&p=D&yr=0&mn=4&dy=0&id=p31390799666 what a nice ride. Expect DTE to dip to the zero line on the CCI chart and then head back as a buy back as in the past.
