Donchian Channels

Parameters Period

Usage Donchian Upper Band(14,4)
Donchian Lower Band(14,4)
Donchian Center Band(14,4)
Description The Donchian Channels are three bands computed from the high and low prices over a given period, using a specified offset. For example: a Donchian Upper Band(14,4) is formed by finding the highest price over 14 days starting 4 days ago. The lower band is formed by finding the lowest price, while the center band is the average of the upper and lower bands.
Examples
Fetcher[show stocks where the high crossed above the upper Donchian Band(14,4)]


Fetcher[show stocks where the high crossed below the lower Donchian Band(21,3)]
