Negative Volume Index (NVI)

Usage Negative Volume Index
NVI
Description As opposed to the Positive Volume Index (PVI), the Negative Volume Index (NVI), is affected by days where the volume has decreased from the previous day. Norman Fosbeck (devloped the NVI and PVI) believes that following days where volume is decreasing helps to point out where the "smart-money" is going in the market. By purchasing on decreased volume days, quiet accumulation can occur.
Examples
Fetcher[show stocks where NVI has been above CMA(NVI,247) for the last 10 days and draw PVI]
