Variables (SET)

Parameters Variable Name
Value
Usage set{variable name,value}
Description *** Advanced Feature ***

This is an advanced feature that allows you to create complex computations based on indicators and other variables. Below is a quick example demonstrating the syntax for this new feature:

Fetcher[ set{dayrange,high - low} set{closeposition, close - low} set{closeratio, closeposition / dayrange} show stocks where the closeratio is below 0.05 ]

The example above finds stocks where the closing price was in the bottom 5% of the trading range for the day.

Additionally, you can store common variables on the "Variables" section of the "Settings" page.
