6/10/2016 8:31:46 PM shillihs, I think you are correct on the market recovering a bit. my argument is based on fundamental analysis but we have a volatile environment now and Janet Yellen is most likely forced to come out mid week next week and say the fed will not raise rates. they cant raise rates and then re neg on it. my guess is were going to see a nice Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. |

6/13/2016 4:52:55 PM This time I took a little hit on exit but it usually is not that bad for me. I have other personal entry exit strategies. One thing you can do is start scaling out of your position. As I said before, in general I don't use Weekly IFT(2,1). If you would have gone long Tvix today, you would have been up 28%. Then you could Have scaled out or switched to Vxx. My system puts me in Tmf and later kicks into Tvix but Sometimes bypasses and jumps into Xiv. Gotta sleep it's midnight here. |

6/13/2016 5:10:30 PM I chickened out this morning. I bought VXX Calls for .57 Friday before the close. I sold them for ~.80 at the beginning of the day for ~25% gain. They are now worth $2.08 or something like that - I seriously missed the boat today because I don't trust the weekly IFT(2,1). Could've been a 258% gain today... dangit. |
