2/16/2017 12:28:55 PM I decided to take my XIV trade off the table at $65.00. The contango and roll yield were signaling to stay in, but the VIX contango had dropped below the VXV contango earlier this week, which is a warning signal. Had I heeded it on Monday I would have been out at the open on Tuesday at ~$70. My cost basis was $50.51, so this was a good time to take the money and wait for things to develop one way or the other. |

2/22/2017 10:55:22 AM A little interesting phenomenon, If let's say an ETF gaps from 30 to 35, even if gap does not fill, the numerical whole numbers in between usually do, example, 31,32,33,34. Just something to think about... |
