Hi
Here is my dumpster diver
This will generally give a correction up move BUT it may not last long.
Enjoy

Fetcher[
Average volume (30) > 300,000 and close < close 1 day ago
close < ma (20) for the last 20 days
set {V, volume / average volume (30)} add column V
V > 3 and sort column 5 descending

dwiggains: this filter of yours gets the bottoms, could you go over the logic under 20 ma for 20 days, close is less than yesterday, and is Volume 3x the average for 30 days?

Hi Klynn55

If you watch the extreme volumes that happen in the market many happen at the beginning of a move OR at the end of a move.

This filter is trying to find the bottom feeders.
So I want a stock that has been below a moving average for a month or more then I want a volume EXPLOSION.
Hopefully this is washout of all the sellers and the end of of this down move.

Good Luck
See ya
David

rudolph: and if you add "draw rsi(2)" to your second filter , you can see that rsi(2) is lower than 10 of every stock that scan picks. is there a better bottom finder than rsi(2)? perhaps john Paul's MYSTERY indicator is better, but usually when he labels
an indicator so, youre not not going to get an answer to the mystery! perhaps it's a macd, 2,26,1!
***********************************************************************************************
klynn...it looks close to macd 2,26,1 but not quite. John has also found a way for all the MYSTERY indicators to reference the same dimensions....i.e. -67 low. Maybe someday he'll stop just teasing us like this and actually throw us a bone. ;)
