WALLSTREETGENIUS

Avery (TRO)

Thank you for that. But let me ask you...can program it to have the HSTXHST move every time the bars move, rathan than how many days it stays above zero? You know, much like you did with Bullpower and the BLXBL. In other words, let's say the MACD-H has been falling (decreasing) the last three days. I would need the HSTXHST to read -3 on the display. Can you do that? If you can, you wont even believe how incredible this filter is going to be!

Thanks in advance

...if ONLY the "answer" was found in Filters...

...or, Indicators...

...or, Moving Averages...

...or, Displaced Moving Averages...

...or, Histograms...

...or, Elder Ray this or Force Index that...

BUT...alas...it just isn't !!!

Now, having said that...I'm certainly receptive to ANY new thang that shows promise...so...keep them filters coming guys and gals !!! But, know that I been chasing the "perfect filter" for seemingly forever...and...well...if I'd found it...I wouldn't be sitting here peckin' out this here post.

alf44

"IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT".

Then why use a filter?

If you use a filter to find stocks that FIT YOUR STYLE OF TRADING, then you are using a filter properly.

"RUN FOREST, RUN" stocks and "COWS" are usually not the same. So depending on what trading method I am using, I use the appropriate filter.

Funny thing is, Muddy's good old WAIT FOR GREEN, works with any stock. But works even better with the RFR stocks.
