I "mis-spoke" in previous post (I was also under sniper fire with Hillary in Bosnia). Should have read "overbought > 75. My Apologies.

TRO, I removed the RIMM limitation and WOW, what an enlightening filter. Certainly can be used for many others as well. Once again, what terrific work!

Thank you!

Drew

Klynn:

No Klynn, I didn't say that... SF and Prophet did. I guess, according to you, SF and Prophet got RIMM all wrong.

If instead of spending your time trying to prove others wrong, you spent your time trying to learn and understand, you just might make some money trading.

Now everyone can see why I don't waste my time answering your questions.

Yahoo, telechart 2008, and stockcharts have 37 rsi(2) on 4-7-08, again you employ an ad hominem argument , attack the man , stay away from the logic, good tactic, but anyone with a little college knows the ploy!

here we go again, my interest is not too prove you wrong , hell i dont understand most of your stuff, why do you think i ask questions, just trying to find the truth , i hope you post the GRAIL, i'm not paying a fee for this service to annoy you, i'm here to profit! all else is meaningless. Post the Grail! Please!

Could someone use their chart system to act as a independent for rsi2 on 4-7?.

Klynn, I think the only explanation could be due to the differences in data stream. I too have frequently noticed differences in indicators when comparing my own charting software (neoticker) to SF. This is true not only in RSI2 but other simple indicators like moving averages. I can't imagine it would be due to the construction of the indicators because the formulae for RSI2 and moving average are fairly straightforward. SF, care to weigh in on this?

That's NOT what I see!

Why did you quote two other sources if your intent was NOT to prove me wrong? You actions speak louder than your words.

We are on SF here. So use SF data.

You really don't want to understand that is obvious ( to me ) by now.

Ask yourself the simple question why others have learned and profitted from what I have written and you have not. You want to blame me. You say I am not a good instructor. If that is the case then stay away from my posts and leave me alone.

tro: it's much easier for me to use amibroker and its data, i would never think that data would change from one provider to another why would i expect that, my search and look for rsi(2) is built in AB,i really don't understand your filters. Im sorry if that's what you don't want to hear. i imagine there are a lot like me out there also.
my problem is i'm trying to digest too much. i am trying to learn Fasttrack, fastools, trade, this venue, and amibroker, plus i tend to waste time on things i read on the internet: Since I'm a very honest person, i tend to believe the written word of others. I'm learning though that a lot of writers get paid to write and not necessarily be right! There is a lot of dishonesty out there , is'nt there TRO?
