RSI(2) says... XMSR and SIRI will bounce soon... load the boat on green!

Wear gloves if you want to catch falling knives, then you don't bleed.

Just remember while grown men who wear skirts go to bed if the market is red, real traders are trading with real money and making real profits.

MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE.

I wrote a filter once that tried to catch stocks like SIRI where they fell off the upper Bollinger Band and headed south. The theory was that the stocks would hold at the 20DMA and then bounce back up. Turns out though that most went on down to the lower band just as John Bollinger constantly preaches.
My proprietary filter MOAF catches these falling stocks but also looks for positive signs of recovery. Much less blood, much more money and satisfaction.
The middle of the Bollinger Band is not much of a place to bet your money.

A better way is to look at a fallen stock and measure how much it rose from the most recent bottom to the most recent top. More times than not the stock will give up 50% of the gains and then commence to go up again.

Joe, you are probably not aware of how tasteless it is to keep advertising your 2-cent site on this 2-million dollar site. I hope someone brings it to your attention soon. --BJ

BJ, you don't even have access! It's only for a select few.

Cheers

Is this the filter you used to lose $100,000 or just another paper trading filter?

Let's see you post the confirmations from the proprietary filter. I am sure the "world" would love to see how good it is.

Didn't they teach you to share in kindergarten?

RSI(2) has worked for me. I use RSI(2) as a indicator to get ready for a reversal (up trend). I use weekly charts to determine how much more the stock has to go before turning around. I use daily charts to determine my entry and setting a stop limit. I have learned great deal from this website and thanks to my buddy St0ckpimp.

I bought SONS (per Rumple One recommendation) on Monday and sold it today for a nice profit. Bought GPS (GAP) based on RSI(2) and made a nice profit. I use several filters from Holy grail and Rumple one and of course one that I created. Which is a simple RSI(2) filter. Nothing fancy, very simple. I believe RSI(2) can be applied to any filter.

When the markets turn around (heading south) I don’t trade. I wait for the market to do a reversal. Go with the flow.

RumpledOne: are you starting to mix fibs into rsi(2)???

All the picks you've had make close to perfect fib retracements before the rebound...I knew I would find your secret sooner or later !!! LOL
