72,

First--thank you for the compliment.

I backtest visually on StockFetcher.

I have no favorite filter(s).

But you will notice a favorite theme or two:
+You already noticed usually 2 or 3 indicators
+Usually standard indicators -- only a few are calculated/created
+Usually buy the dip after a high
+Try to go with the longer trend
+Rarely day trade
+Shared in the past that I usually do stop-limit entries
+Shared that I usually go long
+Long stock with a dividend -- usually better than 2% and less than 7%, If the stock drops let the dividends reduce the loss.
+Trade small
+Always be aware of risk of ruin: The loss of all
+Always be aware of money management http://www.futuresmag.com/2011/12/31/simple-money-management-wins-over-time
+Still have trouble with exits -- loss or profit (see partial solution above about long dividend stocks)
+Short positions without dividend
+"The chart below shows the amount a portfolio or security must rise after a drop just to get back to even"
http://www.investopedia.com/articles/02/022002.asp
50% drop needs a 100% return of the remaining balance to get back to even
+I try not to confuse a bull market with being too smart (try to stay humble). Overall a nice move up during my lifetime, http://www.macrotrends.net/1319/dow-jones-100-year-historical-chart. Watch out for another 1965 - 1982 bear market!
+Keep an open mid, keep learning, keep investing/trading with my personality
+Keep trading costs down--commissions low or none

Hope this helps

Honestly, no. I diversify my trades by using new filters and old filters. I post my filters so I can run through them easily.

I can share some recent trades/attempts with multiple filters:
